davefan66 Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 4th and 1, the dude should have stayed upright and he would have walked in the endzone.
FreakPop Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 So Trent gets credit for this loss because he was the starter right?
BRH Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 15% Turk Schonert's lousy playcalling mixed with JP's horrible field smarts. And I think the mixture is 85% JP's horrible field smarts. Even at the beginning of the game you could tell the difference, when JP laid it out for Lynch but waited until the very last possible second, by which time Lynch was dead to rights. Edwards would have hit the window as it was starting to open, not as it was slamming shut, and Lynch would have had room to move.
Schobel94 Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 You really think we are losing cause Trent is out? oh yeah bigtime. it throws off the consistencey of the offense. it puts more pressure on an already mediocre run game to perform and it extends the time our defense is on the field. not to mention the fact that every single player is in the mindset of there first string quarterback being hurt. Does the defense suck today, you bet your ass it does, but a big part of that is because the offense(while good) has not had a drive of over 5 plays. our defense sucks because it is sucking wind.
BuffaloSteph Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 You really think we are losing cause Trent is out? I think we could rally back a bit better from the bad defense if he was in. That's all I'm sayin'
Big Turk Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 All I can say is if Edwards is out for any length of time, we are in trouble... This team does not have confidence in Losman, and you can see it on the field....
Golden Wheels Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 It's time to piss on the fire and call in the dogs. The hunt is over.
Max997 Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 just got dominated on the defensive side of the ball all game long, this team showed me absolutely nothing today...no heart and no adjustments to an awful gameplan
jad1 Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 So Trent gets credit for this loss because he was the starter right? Christ, let it go.
Tcali Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 4th and 1, the dude should have stayed upright and he would have walked in the endzone. time to go out and enjoy a nice sunny day.....now we can't fool ourselves anymore...we are very average
Max Fischer Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Lesson: "Guys, we are good enough not to bring our A-game every week. This loss is on everyone."
generaLee83 Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 So Trent gets credit for this loss because he was the starter right? LOL, don't revive that year old thread!!
Shanahan's Horseshoe Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Nope. 85 % terrible defense 15% Turk Schonert's lousy playcalling mixed with JP's horrible field smarts. Let it go, this game had nothing to do with JP. We are down by 17 in the 4th, dink and dunk aint gonna work! -The D -#17 -Royal -Schonerts play calling -PF's horrible game plan -Fowler's missed block -Unprepared team JP deserves none of the blame!
Stenbar Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 So Trent gets credit for this loss because he was the starter right? lol...
GripnRip Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 JP losman has little/nothing to do with this loss. The Bills are not winning any game where the defense casually gives up 40+ points. PF was handed a blueprint on how to beat the cards and ignored it. Loss is 100% on the coaching staff.
Simon Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 It could be worse. You could be playing against Tim Hightower in your FFL game because your buddy picked him up and started him just to annoy you.
BRH Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 This team does not have confidence in Losman, and you can see it on the field.... That's for sure. He made a couple plays here and there but mostly the guys are out there waiting for the other shoe to drop. They know that even if JP gets them the ball, they're going to get hammered. No accident you've hardly seen the YAC you see in other games.
Dan Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 This loss is squarely and solely on the Defense. Period. End of Discussion. The friggin horrendous non-challenge by DJ was astounding though. What the hell is he saving the timeout for? They haven't stopped the Cards all day. Say what anyone wants about JP, but no way the defense wouldn't just let the Cards move right back down the field and score again. The Defense has absolutely sucked balls since the opening drive.
Big Turk Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Does the defense suck today, you bet your ass it does, but a big part of that is because the offense(while good) has not had a drive of over 5 plays. our defense sucks because it is sucking wind. Yeah---when you have run 29 plays the entire game halfway thru the 4th quarter, you know something is not right....
BEAST MODE BABY! Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Stroud has been all but absent since game 1. I agree. What happened to the push we were getting that first game? And JP, good luck in free agency.
