Steely Dan Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 I believe in psychic ability but I believe only about 1% of those who say they are psychic actually are. There are cases where psychics have been really amazing in helping the police in cases. It does happen and it's really amazing. For those who will say "Why don't they get the lottery numbers?" It doesn't work that way. Bits and pieces of events are picked up by psychics. Ok, that said the two, so-called psychics, on this show strike me as being in the 99% who aren't in the true psychic group. They go to Holloway's high school and then to Aruba. Everything they "feel" about the case isn't anything that isn't already known or stuff that a reasonable person could easily surmise. I'm watching another one on Jon-Benet. If I finish watching the whole thing before going to bed I'll let you know about that one too.

It is interesting that the stuff they present does make sense and leads to a pretty logical conclusion that the police never made public and may have looked over. The way the psychics lead the investigation is that it was someone who worked with her dad maybe in security at the building he worked in that one of the psychics goes to. Supposedly he didn't know this is the building her father used to work in. Once again all of the stuff seems to be stuff that was publicized or common sense type stuff. The fact that a note was left asking for the exact amount of his bonus doesn't really take a rocket surgeon to figure out that they must have worked with them.
