Wacka
Biden repeatedly over the years, including this one, has stated that a drunk driver killed his wife and several kids in a car accident in 1972. The police said that the driver that struck the car was NOT drunk and had not had any alcohol. It appears his wife who had a stop sign, had stopped and then pulled into the intersection without looking. The other driver did not have a stop sign. He died in 1999 and his family still are pained when Biden smears him to this day. 1972 crash still haunts driver's family

Lurker
In the spirit of cost savings, maybe Congress should just make an emergency amendment to the constitution to drop the VP position altogether....

That's not "repeatedly." And how is that "still lying on the campaign trail?" Plus, the article you link to is from a month ago, and the only reason that article is out is because Inside Edition dug up the video from 2001, called up Dunn's family and showed them the tape of the piece they ran. What a guy. Or some people here that are using his dead family members as well. And I would like to know exactly how many times he has said that. And really for him to talk about his first wife, no problem with that what-so-ever. Mothers who have children killed in DUI accidents do it, it goes on and on. PastaJoe
Anybody see Family Guy last week where they had a costume party where Peter dressed as Laura Bush and Lois dressed as the guy she killed in a car accident. "Laura Bush killed a guy". That was a ballsy reference.

BillsNYC
McCain camp won't touch that with a 10 ft pole, and rightly shouldn't. It's one of those political "chalk up as a loss" and let it be. If they attack him, it should be on the helicopter story.
Wacka
I love the line in an article about the helicopter. Kerry joked, "We were going to send Biden out to fight the Taliban with snowballs, but we didn't have to do it…Other than getting a little cold, it was fine." Maybe Biden thought Osama was hiding on Hoth.

It's as if the president doesn't exist. This isn't 24 where every year, a president is killed or put out of commission by terrorists. Remember that Quayle was once a VP... molson_golden2002
Sarah Palin has committed yet another political blunder after claiming she had held talks with a British ambassador - talks that never actually took place. In an answer to questions about her foreign policy experience ahead of tonight's make-or-break vice presidential TV debate, her aides listed numerous contacts with foreign officials - including Britain's ambassador to Washington, Sir Nigel Sheinwald. However the meeting never occurred. Officials at the embassy swiftly contacted the McCain-Palin campaign to inform them of the discrepancy. A British Embassy spokesman said the error arose after Sir Nigel's name was listed among those who had attended a US Governor's meeting in July. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/...bate-looms.html
