Biden still lying on the campaign trail

Biden repeatedly over the years, including this one, has stated that a drunk driver killed his wife and several kids in a car accident in 1972. The police said that the driver that struck the car was NOT drunk and had not had any alcohol. It appears his wife who had a stop sign, had stopped and then pulled into the intersection without looking. The other driver did not have a stop sign. He died in 1999 and his family still are pained when Biden smears him to this day.

He made that statement twice, once last year and once in 2001. That's not "repeatedly." And how is that "still lying on the campaign trail?" Plus, the article you link to is from a month ago, and the only reason that article is out is because Inside Edition dug up the video from 2001, called up Dunn's family and showed them the tape of the piece they ran.

Oh my the travesty!!! Damn his for being mistaken about how members of his family died. Give me a break.

"mistaken" for 36 years?

More like someone who either can't deal with reality or someone who uses his dead wife for political gain.

What a guy.

I don't agree or disagree with this, but how did they determine it in 1972?

Or some people here that are using his dead family members as well. And I would like to know exactly how many times he has said that. And really for him to talk about his first wife, no problem with that what-so-ever. Mothers who have children killed in DUI accidents do it, it goes on and on.

Forgive him. He wanted to take at least one shot at the Dem VP since he can't defend his own.

Biden has been a liar and plagerizer since the days he stole Neil Kinnoch's (sp?) speech.

I love the line in an article about the helicopter.

Kerry joked, "We were going to send Biden out to fight the Taliban with snowballs, but we didn't have to do it…Other than getting a little cold, it was fine."

Maybe Biden thought Osama was hiding on Hoth.

I've never seen so much attention put for the VP position. It's as if the president doesn't exist. This isn't 24 where every year, a president is killed or put out of commission by terrorists.

Remember that Quayle was once a VP...

Sarah Palin has committed yet another political blunder after claiming she had held talks with a British ambassador - talks that never actually took place.

In an answer to questions about her foreign policy experience ahead of tonight's make-or-break vice presidential TV debate, her aides listed numerous contacts with foreign officials - including Britain's ambassador to Washington, Sir Nigel Sheinwald.

However the meeting never occurred. Officials at the embassy swiftly contacted the McCain-Palin campaign to inform them of the discrepancy.

A British Embassy spokesman said the error arose after Sir Nigel's name was listed among those who had attended a US Governor's meeting in July.
