elegantelliotoffen Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 I have no idea what their stats are or what anyone else in the league is doing but in my biased opinion Poz and Whitner are playing at Pro Browl levels. Thoughts?
BillsFanForever19 Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 I'd say that Donte Whitner would deserve a nod. But I think it would be difficult given the star power of guys like Troy Polamalu and Ed Reed. Lee Evans should also deserve some consideration given the fact that he's #7 in receiving stats and 5 of the 6 ahead of them are in the NFC (one of which a TE). Also going by stats, Trent would deseve at least some consideration with him being #10 in QB stats with Jay Cutler, Philip Rivers, and Brett Favre being the only QB's ahead of him from the AFC. Brett is a given, but TE's undefeated record against Cutler and Rivers could cause him to push one of them out. But, Peyton Manning might get the nod above all of them on name alone. I also think that Roscoe Parrish would end up being the AFC's punt return specialist.
AlbanyBill Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 not peters yeah, not crowell either, he's playing like sh*t- sometimes it seems like he's not even out there...
AlbanyBill Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 I would have to think that Poz, Whitner, Edwards, Moorman and Evans would all be in if voting ended this week
murra Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 If Poz gets in over Ray Lewis at MLB, I will be the happiest person in the world.
Guest dog14787 Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Poz is an attractive dude!! In a Bills Uniform, your doggon right he is
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Poz definitely deserves the nod at this point. His statistics aren't exactly ridiculous (26 tackles, 0 sacks, 1 fumble recovery), but anybody who's been watching knows what a good field general he is and how many incomplete passes he's caused both with his pass rushing and coverage skills.
Guest dog14787 Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 If Jabari Greer keeps playing the way he is and his interceptions increase the way I think they will, he may play his way into the Pro bowl
ProjectPat Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Da Badmon Dante Whitner!! Lick off a shot!!!
Wagon Circler Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 None of the above, although Poz and Whitner come closest. We are a TEAM.
aussiew Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 If Jabari Greer keeps playing the way he is and his interceptions increase the way I think they will, he may play his way into the Pro bowl Agreed.
Captain Hindsight Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 We will be the first super bowl champion with no pro bowlers But Poz, Whitner def deserve it
