I'd say that Donte Whitner would deserve a nod. But I think it would be difficult given the star power of guys like Troy Polamalu and Ed Reed.

Lee Evans should also deserve some consideration given the fact that he's #7 in receiving stats and 5 of the 6 ahead of them are in the NFC (one of which a TE).

Also going by stats, Trent would deseve at least some consideration with him being #10 in QB stats with Jay Cutler, Philip Rivers, and Brett Favre being the only QB's ahead of him from the AFC. Brett is a given, but TE's undefeated record against Cutler and Rivers could cause him to push one of them out. But, Peyton Manning might get the nod above all of them on name alone.

I also think that Roscoe Parrish would end up being the AFC's punt return specialist.

Poz definitely deserves the nod at this point. His statistics aren't exactly ridiculous (26 tackles, 0 sacks, 1 fumble recovery), but anybody who's been watching knows what a good field general he is and how many incomplete passes he's caused both with his pass rushing and coverage skills.

If Jabari Greer keeps playing the way he is and his interceptions increase the way I think they will, he may play his way into the Pro bowl
