Simon
I tried to warn them. Actually Edwards exposed himself knowingly to make a play, and it's something he's been doing all year. Maybe trying to cement himself as the starter, who knows? He's been as much a danger to himself this season as Schonert and the OLine have. Fan in San Diego
A concussion is bad. They get easier and easier to have. This could spell the end of a good but short career.

Yeah, especially if he picked up some flesh-eating bacteria from the field. Come on, my brother.... why the despair already?

What did you want Edwards to do? Take a knee?

It was a corner blitz, Labatt... there is no scheme in the world that is designed to block that.

How about keeping a RB into block when you know your OL can't get the job done!
Simon
A guy gets a free run at the QB and its the QB's fault? What did you want Edwards to do? Take a knee? That's about the 10th time this season he's taken an extra half-second to make a play and know he's exposing himself to a big shot when he does it. I'm not trying to rip him; I admire his guts and willingness to step up and stick his face in the fan. But if he's not going to protect himself, it's only a matter of time before we see something like what we've seen today.
Hammered a Lot
I agree a concussion is bad but his career isnt over I agree. I got a game related concussion last year and I can still determine which sock goes on which foot. Trent will be all right I thunk.

I repeat... corner blitzes are often uncovered... it is up to the QB to make the play. The risk is always there. Trent made a great play, got hit hard. That's all. RJ (not THAT RJ)
I fixed your post So you did. If that helps you to calm down, then by all means, go ahead. I hate seeing Trent get knocked out, too. But I realize that is part of the game. An awful and frustrating part.
