BuffalOhio Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 You can thank Peters for this. Nice penalties, nice giving sacks up. Nice cohesion in that they can't run the ball worth squat. Every time Lynch gets a good run, one of 'em gets a stupid penalty.
Max997 Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Raiders 15-0 over the Chargers the Raiders are better then people think and its a joke that davis wants to get rid of kiffen and the Chargers are not as good as a lot of people thought...they were saying after monday night they feel like they are a 3-0 team, wonder what they'll be saying after this game
Boomer860 Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Lets call an end to the Hardy experiment and go back to basics
Steely Dan Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Its one half of football guys Relax, grab yourself a fresh tampon and let the Bills win it since the Rams did the wrong thing... Let the Bills hang around They look like . Better we grab TP.
fakeeyed Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 faith nothing...they look horrile. we know they play pretty great second half ball this season...and they certainly need to. it looks like we have a college d on the field.
Big Turk Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 well...all 3 late game favorites are getting steamrolled so far... Redskins 17 Cowgirls 7 Campbell 14/20, 2 TD's, QB Rating 132.9---Barber 5 carries, 8 yards Raiders 15 Chargers 0 Rivers 8/13, 1 INT, 3 sacks, 50.5 Rating---LT 5 carries, 7 yards Rams 14 Bills 6 Edwards 8/17, 1 INT, 4 sacks, 43.5 QB Rating---Lynch 8 carries, 18 yards Some pretty putrid performances all around there.... lets see who can make the 2nd half comebacks....

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 cut blocks against linebackers are very legal...if this is what actually happened it really sucks... Also its obvious this block happened well downfield as it was 3rd and 9 after the penalty when it would have been 3rd and 12 otherwise(since it was 3rd and 2 initially)....this makes me think the block might not have even been necessary and if so is even a dumber penalty to take, but perhaps he is coached to take out an LBs feet... It was unnecessary; nobody was around Fowler and it was well down field.
generaLee83 Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Lets call an end to the Hardy experiment and go back to basics Agreed. Trent looks more like JP today than he ever has, always looking deep first. Very few throws to TE's or HB's today.
jarthur31 Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 could you explain the political reasons? IOW, for personal reasons. Just because we had McGee and Parrish splitting duties doesn't mean we have to continue that pattern. It was Dick's choice to use Fred only because he wants to. It's not like Leodis had trouble fielding punts in college, now did he? Jackson doesn't have McKelvin's resume on teams so it's freaking stupid NOT to use McKelvin on any type of returns whenever possible.
robkmil Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Agreed. Trent looks more like JP today than he ever has, always looking deep first. Very few throws to TE's or HB's today. Lynch does have dump off catches-Royal has one and he misfired on another one. I agree he looks bad-but he is throwing the dumps
lets_go_bills Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Lynch needs to get going. He did have two big runs, but they both got negated by penalties. I trust Jauron will make the right adjustments at half time.
John Adams Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Agreed. Trent looks more like JP today than he ever has, always looking deep first. Very few throws to TE's or HB's today. Missing Parrish a lot. He's the true #2 WR. Pass rush has him jumpy. They need to get back to short throws, a screen or 2.
Frez Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 We are a 2nd half team.................here we go! Look for Hardy to come alive!

Also, I wouldn't term that political reasons. he's the coach he decides who does what.
MavBavButav Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 We are a 2nd half team.................here we go! Look for Hardy to come alive! hey frez, how about you take the brian leonard links out of your profile. its bad luck.
DanInUticaTampa Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Crappy start to the 2nd half they are playing fine in the 2nd so far
bills44 Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 they are playing fine in the 2nd so far referring to the KO return
DanInUticaTampa Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 referring to the KO return starting at the 24 isn't bad either. not great, but not bad
