Dick Tracy Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Looked like Lynch's run, but without the penalty to bring it back.jackson already had 99 yards
JohninMinn. Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
USMCBillsFan Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 After that pathetic half we're still only down a touchdown. Make the adjustments Dick. Lets go.....
JM57 Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 I want to see the tripping....why are they not showing it? Fowler fired straight out and attempted a cut on the Rams LB. LB tried to sidestep, but Fowler's shoulder pad caught the LB's ankle and he went down. Ref immediately threw the flag. I don't know if it's against the rules to cut an LB, if so, the flag was deserved. If cuts are legal, then it's wishy-washy
colin Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 we suck so far. how the hell are we running these obvious bunched up running plays from predictable formations and these slow to develop pass plays? no play action, no quick outs, no rollouts, nothing.
bills44 Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Trent isn;t recognizing jack sh-- today. No, he's not. No pocket presence or awareness today. His erratic throws aren't helping either.
nodnarb Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 phew...this one's a stinker. Hope they can turn the game in the second half - this is the worst bills football we've seen since last year. that tripping penalty was completely inadvertent. these refs are calling everything and anything. maybe it's just upset week. grrrr
dpbillsfan Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Looks like one team came out inspired to play today.
Big Turk Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 we can't block or tackle the only time we can get any type of yards in the run game is on these little 3rd and whatever shotgun draw plays....the designed runs are basically Marshawn Lynch making yards by himself because there are 4 defenders waiting for him in the hole....either he cuts back and gets a few yards or he gets gang tackled and dropped...
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 So I rewound and watched the two Lynch runs that were called back. The Peters hold was a joke. The Fowler "trip" was worse-- he dove forward and missed a block and then the guy ran behind Fowler as he was sprawling forward and tripped. I'm pretty sure that's not tripping.
SACTOBILLSFAN Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 that was a pathetic half of football but we're still in it. Two penalties have really been the difference in that half having a much different feel.
JStranger76 Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 The run D needed a reality check anyways. If McFadden would of had a healthy toe last he would have busted a few VERY long runs. Our D has looked better than they are because of other teams injuries so far this season.
NavyBillsFan Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Its one half of football guys Relax, grab yourself a fresh tampon and let the Bills win it since the Rams did the wrong thing... Let the Bills hang around
DrFishfinder Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Just about time. I say Bills by 14! Just putrid so far. inexcusable penalties have killed drives. Fowler & the front line are getting steamrolled. The Rams are looking like 3-0 and the Bills are looking like 0-3. If they don't get their heads out of their a$$es during halftime, this will be embarrassment to the Bills and a job-saver for Linehan.
Georgia Bill Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Keep the faith guys, we shall overcome!
Big Turk Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Fowler fired straight out and attempted a cut on the Rams LB. I don't know if it's against the rules to cut an LB, if so, the flag was deserved. If cuts are legal, then it's wishy-washy cut blocks against linebackers are very legal...if this is what actually happened it really sucks... Also its obvious this block happened well downfield as it was 3rd and 9 after the penalty when it would have been 3rd and 12 otherwise(since it was 3rd and 2 initially)....this makes me think the block might not have even been necessary and if so is even a dumber penalty to take, but perhaps he is coached to take out an LBs feet...
