Down Goes OVERHYPED USC Again

I hate the Trojans. Every year we hear about how the team they have is "better" than previous USC teams. Once again they get slammed by a team that "they shouldn't have lost to" and people see the truth. USC has been overhyped every year since Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush guided them to their BCS title. Carroll is unquestionably a great coach and recruiter, but they give these guys too much praise every year. Now the picture is wide open for all the rest of the teams to get in there and win one instead of the media darling Trojans.

So true. The idiots on the radio in LA this week were talking about them as possibly the greatest college football team ever. :wallbash:

It was the same with ESPN a couple years back when they did their "best college team of all-time" poll. Started with 16 of the "greatest" teams of all time, which included the 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 trojans. :w00t:

Who are they going to blame this time when they don't make the BCS Final? The schedule makers, the pollsters, the SEC, Ohio State, the referees? And if they lose to another PAC 10 team look out! Nice win Oregon State!

It may be another year in which one and two loss teams play for the championship. And it looks as if SEC teams will be in the mix again. Oklahoma will have a tough path.
