He lists 10 reasons Buffalo will make the playoffs this year: (I'm paraphrasing his reasons for each one.)

 

The poll is multiple choice.

1. Coach Dick Jauron - His demeanor never changes whether the team is doing well or bad and he never publicly calls out players and he always has their backs.

 

2. QB Trent Edwards - He's better than J.P. with an 8-4 winning record. He's completing 67.0% of his passes.

 

3. Marcus Stroud and Kawika Mitchell - Stroud is back to form looking like he did when he was making the pro-bowl. Mitchell is the perfect fit for the team and brings SB experience.

 

4. OC Turk Schonert - Jauron's decision to promote a QB coach to OC has paid off. He's developed a great relationship with TE.

 

5. Lee Evans - With Schonert calling the plays Evans is more dangerous than ever. They are moving him around to create favorable matchups.

 

6. WR/PR Roscoe Parrish - Most dangerous PR in the league he's even better than Hester or Cribbs.

 

7. Good tackling DB's - They know how to wrapup ball carriers.

 

8. Punter Brian Moorman - He has the respect of everyone in the league and can throw the occasional TD pass.

 

9. RB Fred Jackson - He's inspirational by working hard to overcome his shortcomings. His effort and awareness should rub off on Marshawn.

 

10. Unbelievable fans - It's a shame the team is moving games to Toronto because their big, loud stadium provides a great home field advantage.

 

Baldinger should call Mort and tell him Stroud is looking great this year.
