stuckincincy
I bet we could convert him into a great slot WR! I'll have to wait until I see his cut to the middle, come-back and face the ball on a leap, and take a shot to the kidneys, gut, or chops from a barreling DB that has him in his sights, and then hang on to the ball. That's different than snagging a swing pass near the sidelines or a grabbing a pop pass as a relief valve catcher.
jarthur31
I bet we could convert him into a great slot WR! I don't think we'll be using Fred to return kicks or punts anytime soon.
Tcali
I don't think we'll be using Fred to return kicks or punts anytime soon. Yeah definitely not a weakness of the Bills.
inkman
I bet we could convert him into a great slot WR! Metcalf was a dynamic returner, one of thebest ever to play in the NFL. Fred Jackson is playing where he is best suited.
GhostsOfTheRockpile
I bet we could convert him into a great slot WR! Why? He's fine where he is. We don't need a Josh Reed clone playing alongside... Josh Reed.

kegtapr
Why turn him into something he's not, when he's already doing an excellent job where he is?
The Dean
I don't think we'll be using Fred to return kicks or punts anytime soon. I thought the Bllls already used Jackson in the return game, on occasion. Am I mistaken?
jarthur31
I thought the Bllls already used Jackson in the return game, on occasion. Am I mistaken? If they have, very sparingly as a backup but never featured. Why when you got All-Worlders McGee and Parrish?

The Dean
Actually, Fred had 3 kick returns, last year with the Bills: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JackFr02.htm I know, "so what?: I have no idea.
Max997
I think the OP was trying to say that the Bills should put Fred in the slot since he is a good receiver with Roscoe out
The Dean
I think the OP was trying to say that the Bills should put Fred in the slot since he is a good receiver with Roscoe out I got a similar understanding. Fred as the 3rd down specialist.
