bills-fan in arizona Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Not sure if this has been posted, but I can't figure out why the Raiiders didn't go for 2 after Higgens long TD. To me that was a worse decision then not calling timeouts. PS I'm not complaining - just curious

We had just come off a drive where we went down the field and scored, I don't think the Raiders thought we would be able to do the same thing again, and then again to get a field goal.
Justice Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Because going for two would've been a horrible decision. If the Raiders would've missed the two pt conversion than they would've only had a 8pt lead over the Bills. Meaning that the Bills could tie the game with a TD and 2pt conversion of their own.

Yeah I think people really over think the 2 pt. conversion.
