83evans83 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Trent is the game's obvious MVP, but you can't count out the efforts of the other guys listed.
Spiderweb Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 TE gets the nod, but Josh Reed came up huge when it counted.
Britbillsfan Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 I put in Reed. Whatever he said to their starting safety (Wilson?) meant we got a rookie to pick on...
83evans83 Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 TE gets the nod, but Josh Reed came up huge when it counted. Agreed, he did, he made some clutch grabs.
KD in CA Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Trent really showed leadership with the 3 late drives, but don't forget how hard Lynch ran all day. He made some big, big runs, extending drives with 3d down runs, the TD, etc.
dtgolder Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Poz...5 tackles...(although from the list, Edwards of course)
truth on hold Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 take lindall off the list. he was only 1 for 2 and neither was particularly long. he makes the 1st and the 2nd one isnt needed
Saint Doug Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 True, Reed and The Beast had great games. But, in the end, Trent is the one who put it all together to get the job done. My gosh, he looked like Manning (Peyton) or Brady out there on the last 3 possessions. It was like he willed the Bills to win. He certainly is the real deal.
bills44 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 you could make a case for a number of players, excepting Peters and Schobel
In-A-Gadda-Levitre Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Trent really showed leadership with the 3 late drives, but don't forget how hard Lynch ran all day. He made some big, big runs, extending drives with 3d down runs, the TD, etc. incredible presence to put the ball around the inside of pylon when he was in the air on the 1st TD, wow!
Oneonta Buffalo Fan 2 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 TE! I told you all last year he would turn out to be aweomse.
molson_golden2002 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 I'll give a ball to the O-Line!
drnykterstein Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Dante Whitner for that late hit on Higgins. That turned our game around.
keepthefaith Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Trent is the game's obvious MVP, but you can't count out the efforts of the other guys listed. From what I saw, Marshawn was clearly the MVP today. He made so many clutch runs that kept drives going and got a couple TDs, the first one a beauty. Trent finished very well but had a poor first half.
Captain Hindsight Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 I'll give a ball to the O-Line! Maybe in the 4th quarter but i wouldnt before then
silvermike Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Had we lost this game, Shane Lechler needed a game ball. That was a perfect punting game.
Max997 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Edwards gets the nod but Lynch made some key plays that kept drives alive...the young core of this team is really good
Guest dog14787 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 TE wasn't pretty through most of the game (I credit the Raider D), but he sure looks pretty now. He is a good looking fella, I mean in a man love kinda way
Stampede Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 i have to pitch my vote for the defense, they are the ones who came up huge in my eyes. i'm sure most would disagree but if oakland would have scored TDs instead of FGs we may not have come out with a win. just my opinion.
