John from Riverside Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 OL not giving great protection Fumbled balls when we are driving? The very questionable Evans fumble where they had the ball in the red zone and scored? I love this team
Big Turk Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 OL not giving great protection Fumbled balls when we are driving? The very questionable Evans fumble where they had the ball in the red zone and scored? I love this team Bad teams find ways to LOSE when they are playing well... Good teams find way to WIN when they are playing bad... We looked at a microcosm of The Bills the last 8 years in the Raiders today...we saw what it looks like to win when you shouldn't... Our time is now!!!
Bmwolf21 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 We snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. Wasn't pretty, but it still goes down as a "W" and should serve as a great learning and humbling experience for this team.
Fezmid Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Reminded me a lot of the Cowboys game from last year, only we are now the Cowboys. This team seems like it has something special about it...
Brandon Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 You're right, it should not have been close. The Bills actually beat them pretty badly in every way except the scoreboard. They led in total yards 378-247 (and 84 of that latter number was on one play), 25-10 in first downs and had nearly a 10 minute time of possession advantage. The three Bills turnovers were the equalizer and nearly cost them a victory. Otherwise, this probably would've been a blowout.

If this is the true yardstick, and there's alot to agree with above, then it's quite possible our boys have truned the corner. Two weeks in a row The Bills pulled out a victory from the jaws of defeat.... Congrats and thanks to the BIlls....
G-Daddy Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 How many times have we been on the losing side of these close games......too many! It's nice to have it go our way this week. Let's learn from the slow start and blow out the Rams next week!!!
Tcali Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 I don't really agree. The Raiders were far superior in the first half and should have put us away. We dominated half 2...but I think overall the game was very closely played.

BEAST MODE BABY! Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 The Raiders are a lot better than people give them credit for. That D is pretty good, especially the front 4.

Yes they were, and the Raiders would be wise to take this game and build from it. The Buffalo Bills are getting back to that never say die attitude

WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Bad teams find ways to LOSE when they are playing well... Good teams find way to WIN when they are playing bad... We looked at a microcosm of The Bills the last 8 years in the Raiders today...we saw what it looks like to win when you shouldn't... Our time is now!!! We played exactly like we would have last year up to the fourth quarter. Then we did exactly what we needed to do. I agree that we should have blown them out, but we had several hard knocks (that idiotic INT call) and strokes of bad luck (fumbles) and we still managed to pull one away. The only troubling thing is what will happen when we play against a team better than the Raiders.
Guest dog14787 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 The Evans catch and being down by contact....not overturned?? Some bad calls, thats for sure
