truth on hold Posted September 19, 2008 Share Posted September 19, 2008 With a 2 & 0 start, an obviously improved team and a weak schedule, I see them making the playoffs. Of course they will need to avoid the injuries of last season (fingers crossed.) Where I get torn is selecting them as wild card of division champ. On one hand I don't see enough improvement to see division champ, but on the other I see a seriously impaired Pats team (Fins have no chance and I think Bretts have been over hyped.) But my gut tells me Pats have enough left to win the division. BUT Bills will be dangerous in the playoffs and I wouldn't put it past them to beat the Pats if they meet in post season. So far Cassel has looked ok, he's not making killer mistakes, but teams don't have a lot of film on him. Unless he can mature a lot as the season goes on other teams will start to figure out how to rattle him and he may get worse as the season goes on.
