Children should not be taught "family preparedness plans in the case of emergencies." It goes against every fiber of the dependancy socialist state that we are striving for in '08. PastaJoe
This is OK, but McCain attacks Obama because he voted for educating kindergarteners on how to avoid and report sexual predators. "Kids, we can't talk about the strange man in the raincoat you see outside, but we can tell you about how to prepare for a nuclear attack". It's like the far left throwing around "fascism," which makes them ignorant cartoon as well.

In a thread that suggests teaching disaster preparedness is a step towards Guantanomo Bay, I think responding with a little hyperbola is in order. StupidNation
Socialism is not thrown around nearly enough. If you realize what we have and what is here you would realize it's socialism. Here's a good definition: "An economic system where the means of production, distribution and exchange is determined by the state/public sector in some form" Now tell me where that doesn't apply to any part of the economy that isn't regulated, legislated, and tell me what we are free to do and open as far as businesses are concerned. When the sheeple are blind the politicians love it.
