Is Obama just a little too tight with his teleprompter?

Scene One - Morning, Sept. 15, in the limo on the way to the Cross Orchards Living History Farm in Grand Junction, Colo.

Now look here, Barack. No, I mean it: Look . . . right . . . here. That's better.

You're forcing me to roll some text that I'd rather not, but here it is: I made you, and I can break you. You need me. You know you need me. So we're going to do this my way. You read me, mister?

But these rallies are outside. It's going to look funny. What if it rains? What if there's . . . glare?

Stop worrying. It'll be fine. You need to focus. If people notice me, tell them you're rolling out a new speech and you want to get it just right. We have to get used to doing it this way, and you'll be surprised how quickly people get used to it, too. The main thing is they want you to sound good. They don't want to listen to you stumble around all morning just to make a hash of the old pig-in-lipstick gag.

All right. We'll try it just this once and see how it goes.

This friggin' guy can't even give a stump speech with his teleprompter???

So I guess when it comes time for the Messiah to make those critical, fate-of-the-world technology decisions (you know, the ones that require email), they'll just have someone load an opinion into the teleprompter so he can speak from the heart?

What a clown.

I was watching Hannity last night and him and that flunky Santorium--is he still on unemployment?--were spreading this garbage argument around to try and get the right wing monkeys to rattle their cages

two things:

1) Obama just went before arch-A@@ hole Bill O on the very same Fox network and answered every question thrown at him, so he is not afraid to answer questions

2) We have had a clown in chief for eight years now that can't speak without a telepromter but you guys are outraged now?

Another thing, both McCain and Obama look exhausted, so if using this helps the Great One look even greater, so much the better

You know that really impressed me about him (although I think he is a liberal buffoon out to destroy the country unintentionally or intentionally I don't know). Once I watched him take on Bill the one thing that stood out to me is that he is articulate and all this talk of a teleprompter is ridiculous. The guy held his own, although I think Bill avoided the real questions and went after him on the Fox issues of interest.

I turned to my wife and said, "This guy is going to mop up McCain once debate season starts." Once I saw how he smiles to diffuse Bill O over and over again I realized he knows how to charm and how to articulate his thoughts.

Pretty scary for a guy who will help exacerbate financial destruction upon the country with spiraling deficits.

Well, if we are lucky there, he has been full of BS the whole time like the rest of the Dems and he will be "Repub-Lite, Less money, More fools."

Wasn't this whole teleprompter thing an issue with Bush. I would agree that in 2000, it was an issue... We were told it was okay to use a teleprompter... Is it bad know?
