PromoTheRobot Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Mel says: "Radio sucks." That quote by Mel Karmazin is ironic since, as president of Infinity Radio back in the 80's and 90's, Howard Stern aside, he led the charge turning terrestrial radio into the wasteland it is today. PTR
BuffaloBud Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Can't disagree, but I have become very accustomed to not hearing any jewerly, carpet, etc commercials (expect on the talk stations). I don't think I need all the stations that Sirius carries now, but I will continue to subscribe if it still exists.
KD in CA Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Wow...down to $.79 a share today?? Wasn't this a $8-$10 stock a couple years ago? It sure isn't gonna help if they get delisted. I'm guessing the lawyers and accountants are working on that reverse split paperwork right now.

Pete Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 I remember a thread where someone was buying Sirius at $7.00 and saying there was no way it would go down and a bunch of us were trying to talk them out of it,, explaining the risks of the merger
