Well, Week 2 of the NFL is now in the books. Like the rest of you, I am incredibly excited about our season so far and I think the best is yet to come. And so the following are my thoughts and observations of the week that was.

Bills:

-Our young and talented team is maturing and really came of age on Sunday with that huge come-from-behind win.

-Trent Edwards is looking more and more like "the guy."

-Turk Schonert is doing a great job calling the Offence and playing to our strengths.

-Bring on Oakland, and bring on 3 and 0.

Rest of the NFL:

Dolphins: Bad team.

Patriots: Quelled the Favre-ness, a least for a little while.

Jets: Got brought back down to earth.

Ravens: Bye.

Bengals: Back to being the Bungals.

Browns: Ready the panic button, flopping under the hype, ready Quinn.

Steelers: Running the ball, big-time Defence, Steeler football, and AFC elite.

Texans: Bye.

Colts: Manning slowly returning to form, avoided the 0-2 hole.

Jaguars: Ha! 0-2, the Offence is hurting, but the Defence is still there.

Titans: Off to a great start with strong run game and defence, despite VY crisis.

Broncos: Explosive offence, but benefitted from a bad call, gutsy coach.

Chiefs: Bad team.

Raiders: Beat a bad team, but McFadden was a beast.

Chargers: 0-2 hole, Merriman out, LT hurting, but Rivers is good.

Cowboys: Class of the NFC, big-time Offence, huge win.

Giants: Eli is for real, Tuck is an emerging star, they're not missing Osi or Strahan... yet.

Eagles: Lost a close one, but McNabb is back, these guys are good.

Redskins: This team is still iffy, still adapting to their new coach/system.

Bears: The Defence is back, Forte is for real, but QB still plagues this team.

Lions: Same 'ol Lions.

Packers: Rogers doing great, but yet to face a real challenge.

Vikings: Not the start they wanted, but Defence and run game is tops.

Falcons: Bad team.

Panthers: Their Defence is back, healthy Delhomme is the key, and now they get Smith back.

Saints: Took a step back, their Offence is good, but their Defence is bad.

Buccaneers: Gruden's QB-carousel is annoying, not sure what to make of these guys yet.

Cardinals: Warner is playing like his old-MVP days, but beat two bad opponents.

Rams: Bad team, worst in football, Linehan is done.

49ers: Bad team.

Seahawks: Super Bowl, four straight division titles, oh how the mighty have fallen.

Well, that's it. Hope you enjoy it. Try and resist the temptation to be critical .

And remember, GO BILLS!

I'll concentrate on the Bills.... I don't care a lick if they get media attention, all I want is a healthy team that matures EVERY week, and comes prepared to challenge everyone on that schedule. Dick Jauron and his staff definately have the hearts and minds of these players and the "buying into the program" is becoming well established, IMO! It seems to me that things are breaking their way, and hopefully they will seize the moment. I billieve that the Bills are becoming a fine TEAM and as a note remember that there is a flex schedule this year, so the Bills might be on the networks much more than anyone could have imagined!! GO BILLS!!
