StupidNation
I'm starting to come around to that point of view. This country doesn't deserve good leadership. Then I think about all the really great people I know Define good leadship in your world.
LongLiveRalph
Good. I hope he scares the crap out of everyone. Particularly the people who seek to do our country harm. No no no!!! You've got it backwards my friend! If the Repubs have taught us anything in the last seven years, it's that WE are the ones who must be afraid!! Very afraid of everything. Because terrorists and child molesters and tropical storms and 4-hour erections are out there, and they're after YOU!!! And your dog!!!! The end is near. PastaJoe
So corporations that only do business in the US are ok? If they're employing Americans and not moving jobs overseas they're helping the economy.
KD in CA
If they're employing Americans and not moving jobs overseas they're helping the economy. Oh, so 'multi-national' is ok as long as they don't 'move jobs' overseas?
KD in CA
Way to stay on topic! Uh...thanks. Since apparently you are an idiot, allow me to point out that I responded to someone who used a Pat Buchanan quote to draw a conclusion on what 'hawks' think about McCain, even though Pat Buchanan is as far away from being a 'hawk' as you can get. Last I checked, this is a thread about McCain.

drnykterstein
Just curious what nuclear weapon we detonated when 3 planes were hijacked and crashed (or attempted) into our buildings? Do you know the type of people that seriously think Bush caused the 9/11 attacks? They are professors, distinguished researchers, and survivors who were in the towers and escaped. I laughed when people first started blaming the U.S. government for that too. Now after a good bit of reading, I don't laugh at it any more. I give it good consideration, and keep an open mind that it was distinctly possible, even if it was not likely.
Acantha
Ah, so you're advocating voting for a 3rd party candidate. I do. Same as I have for the past two elections. How anyone can vote for the main stream candidates we've been force fed for the past few elections is a mystery to me.

Beyond the differences between Dems/Reps. A major house cleaning. Some kind of revolution. Not sure what though. First of all, this country has to decide what it wants to be. Socialist or individualist/self determination. Personally, I think the country enjoyed it's biggest success when it focused on the latter. jmho If I could vote I guess it would have to be Ron Paul. Like the ones who signed the petition against the Duke lacrosse players or the ones leading the charge at the 'Berkeley Day parade'? 'Distinguished researchers'? Like the ones that sell nuke secrets to China or the one(s) who mailed anthrax? Survivors from the towers? Yeah, I'm sure those people were all thinking and observing with complete clarity that day. Nutty kooks come in all flavors and from all professions. That doesn't make them any less nutty.

Didn't the DA prove that the Duke lax players were behind the 9:11 plot?
StupidNation
Something more than simply believing in Jesus Well then where is your thread about those jackass Dems calling Obama Christ and Palin Pilate? Also, McCain and Palin believe in more than Jesus, but I wouldn't call that leadership either. I will give her credit in one regard, the people in her state like her. I don't.
