fishmonger Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 OK, who KNOWS what the deal was with the lay down during the kickoff thing?
Fewell733 Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 i guess it was to hide the fact we had two guys back there. I'm not sure what that accomplishes.
Hazed and Amuzed Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Fred Jackson. He's not the only one. I hope anyway.
fishmonger Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 McGee left, Jackson right; Jackson lies down prior to kick. Why?
ans4e64 Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 He's not the only one. I hope anyway. I'll give you that. Bobby April, Dick Jauron, ect.... Since no one on here is any one of those people, the original poster is not going to get the "correct" answer. Its all speculation on here.
fishmonger Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 I figured someone might have seen a press conference where it was discussed
ans4e64 Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 I figured someone might have seen a press conference where it was discussed I didn't hear the press conference, but I thought it wasn't "technically" answered there. Maybe I should have actually listened to it lol.
cåblelady Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 McGee left, Jackson right; Jackson lies down prior to kick. Why? Because he could.
DANCOCK Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 I didn't hear the press conference, but I thought it wasn't "technically" answered there. Maybe I should have actually listened to it lol. i think we should keep this on the D L, its some sort of trick planned for a future game LOL
Fixxxer Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 So that they would kick in McGee's direction and not him?
The Dean Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Because he could. Why stand when you can lie down. I bet that line has been used on you a few times, cablebabe.
cåblelady Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Why stand when you can lie down. I bet that line has been used on you a few times, cablebabe. Missed ya -b.
The Dean Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Missed ya -b. That's why I leave. It's nice to get some love when I come back.
folz Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Jax supposedly has a great directional kicker...I'm just guessing like everyone else, but I assume it was in case the Jags decided to kick away from Terrence. Without seeing Fred there, we might have caught them by surprise as Freddy would have jumped up fielded the kick and taken off...I'm sure the blockers were prepared to block either direction.
JinWPB Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I could see the possibility of a lateral if the gunners focused on TM and coverage drifted to his side. Kind of like a legal home run throw back. Hope I'm not letting the cat out...
ChasBB Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Maybe he was holding out for a new contract
