Here we have a not very bright 22 year old actress who's already a has-been, who made exactly one good movie (Mean Girls, although the Freaky Friday remake was serviceable) and who lost her best, ahem, assets when she decided to be BFFs with Paris Hilton and become an anorexic, bleach-blond freak. Not to mention her recent decision to become a lesbian, or at least bisexual, purely for the tabloid attention.

 

Nobody really cares here about what Lindsay says. I hope.

I clicked on the link and read what she said. Probably not going to sway anyone into voting for either side, but her vote counts as much as anyone else's, and she came across as at least somewhat informed. On the other hand, you have written this:

In a better world, people would realize that they should keep their mouths shut approximately 90% percent of the time. Doesn't mean that you get the right to be a hypocrite when someone does voice their opinions, political or no. When celebrities or even Earl down the street speak, take it for what it's worth --- roughly, a warm bucket of s--t.

 

If you dislike this commentary or the celebrity culture in general, the best course is to ignore it, not propagate it.
