VOR Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 The Chargers got hosed earlier because the replay unit didn't work. If the Chargers lose, this is a travesty.
colin Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 and SD lost a possession earlier on a bad call because the review equipment wasn't opperating. that's no joke, 28 points swinging against them (potentially, at least 14, but the way they've been scoring could be more). worst ever.
jayg Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 dENVER SCORED WENT FOR 2 AND THE WIN AND CONVERTED! caps lock, oops!
Tcali Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 WOW! That's just friggin horrible!!! whats horrible?
VOR Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 whats horrible? Blowing a fumble call that would have given the Chargers the win.
darkman Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Man, if the Chargers pull this one off................
YOOOOOO Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 whats horrible? Jay Cutler fumbled at the 5 or so yard line....but the head ref whistled the play dead... they reviewed it...but even though it was reviewed a fumble...cuz of his whistle the play was ruled DEAD.... should of been SD ball at the ten....instead Denver retained position
Tcali Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Blowing a fumble call that would have given the Chargers the win. ohhh
Indy Dave Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Cutler fumbled at the San Diego 10. Chargers recovered with about 30 seconds left, up 38-31. Game SHOULD have been over. But Hocali claims he blew the whistle inadvertantly, prior to the Chargers recovering the ball, because he thought it was an incomplete pass. (Cutler had the ball slip out of his hands while attempting a pass, but clearly the ball was coming out as he cocked his arm back. Definitely a fumble.) So they gave Denver the ball at the spot of the (Charger) recovery. Denver goes in and scores to make it a 1-point game, then (amazingly) goes for 2 and converts to take a 39-38 lead. Earlier, as someone said, the Chargers were hosed on a call that would have been overturned in their favor. But the equipment failed, so they went with the call on the field.
taterhill Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Hoculi just Don Denkingerged the Chargers
jayg Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Chargers were totally screwed. Glad to see it was someone else but i still feel badly for them.
darkman Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Bronco's had God, Ref's, Bad Technical Support and luck on their side. Terrible loss for the Chargers.
