nuklz2594 Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 He got he got absolutely torched giving up the sack that made Trent fumble. Could have cost us the game.
marauderswr80 Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Could have but didnt. I kinda liked seeing him get beat. That tells me hes going to work harder this week to be even better for the Raiders game.
nuklz2594 Posted September 14, 2008 Author Posted September 14, 2008 Peters must be thanking the good Lord the Bills pulled out the win. If the Bills had lost he would have crucified in the local media.
deep2evans Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 He got he got absolutely torched giving up the sack that made Trent fumble. Could have cost us the game. What's the point of this? We won didn't we? Why throw out a negative hypothetical after a big win
VOR Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Maybe Trent should have felt the pressure and gotten rid of it or at least stepped-up into the pocket?
ax4782 Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 He got he got absolutely torched giving up the sack that made Trent fumble. Could have cost us the game. Granted, he gave up a costly sack, but the fact was, for the most part, he was extremely solid. Groves had a great jump on the play, and I don't think any tackle in the league could have held him up. That being said, it was his first game back and they were playing in 110 degree temperatures, and Peters admitted that he wasn't quite 100 percent today. I think getting on the critical bandwagon here about Peters would be a bit premature. Buffalo has only given up three sacks in two games. That's pretty good, regardless of what happened as a result. The Bills played well on offense and defense today and won the game.
Stenbar Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Maybe Trent should have felt the pressure and gotten rid of it or at least stepped-up into the pocket? lol
VABills Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Maybe Trent should have felt the pressure and gotten rid of it or at least stepped-up into the pocket? That's the spirit.
lets_go_bills Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Skipping camp hurt him, but I think by the time we exit our bye week, he'll be his usual self. He'll get better each game.
kota Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Jason Peters was sucking wind today. He didn't experience any of the NY humidity in the summer. He goes down to Jacksonville with 95 degree weather and is winded. It was to be expected. We probably won't see Probowl Jason Peters until week 4-5 in terms of game shape. Peters is a good athelete but he isn't that good.
Bmwolf21 Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 So Max has a second screen name. Good for him.
VOR Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 That's the spirit. Just dusting-off some of the old criticisms.
YOOOOOO Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Peters got a very nasty block on the Lynch TD.....
Flutie Flakes Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Maybe Trent should have felt the pressure and gotten rid of it or at least stepped-up into the pocket? Stepped up into what pocket? DT was in his face a moment after he fumbled. There was no place for him to go.
