marauderswr80
Congrats to James Hardy on making his first real TD reception of his NFL career, talk about your first TD catch in a real regular season game, comes at the right time and it was a beauty! I cant wait to see more of this from him!
The Guy
I just got home from the game in Jax. Hardy is the man. Thats what we got him for right!!! He came through!!! What a great road win for the Bills. I'm pumped.
kota
It's a start to a good career for him. He had two catches today and maybe a third but Trent Missed. It will only boost his confidence and the coaches about him.
ax4782
That catch in the endzone was a veteran play when we needed it most. Hopefully, he continues to improve next week.
YOOOOOO
now on that wishbone formation we used in the redzone eariler in the game...if ya have Hardy out there as your lone WR instead of Reed...you might have something.... otherwise i really hated that formation in that spot
rastabillz
I can't belive how he got the second foot inbounds after leaping that high in the corner of the end zone. Looked like a ballet dancer out there. Twinkle toes Hardy??
VOR
I was THIS close to saying before the game "I hope Hardy catches a TD at the back of the endzone to win the game for the Bills in the closing moments," a la Wilford. I wish I had. I would have RULED!
Flutie Flakes
Fantastic catch by Hardy. Jump ball that was high even for Hardy and he has the presence to keep both feet inbounds. Incredible, especially for a rookie. He is going to be a great fit in Buffalo!!!
bills1960
Wow! After the way Edwards was hitting Evans and Reed with nice passes, if we could add Hardy to the mix more often, how great would that be!
Kelly the Dog
Some players, usually very good or great players, have a nose for the endzone. In the OTAs and pre-season and regular season, there is no reason to believe that Hardy is not one of those guys. He just has a knack. That was a fabulous play about four different ways. BuffalOhio
I can't belive how he got the second foot inbounds after leaping that high in the corner of the end zone. Looked like a ballet dancer out there. Twinkle toes Hardy?? Truthfully, I don't think he did get it inbounds, and I'm surprised it didn't get overturned. Sure looked like his right toes were in the white when he landed. We finally got a call to go our way! It was a perfect play, though! Very exciting, tense game. Loved it! slyng1
You know something - i was impressed w/that catch as well.. And here's another thing i was thinking about at the bar (and i'm still drunk, so don't flame me if i f*ck this up) - but we make such a big deal about people getting both feet in, i.e if you tip-toe down the line and your tip-toes get in, you're good to go... Well, on that play with hardy it looked like his first foot was in-bounds (the whole thing) and then his 2nd-foot HEEL went down first and then as the rest of his foot hit the ground, his toe was out of bounds... So it kind of begs the question about the rule, isn't your heel as good as your toe when talking about what is in-bounds and what is out of bounds? Thoughts? Unless they had a viewpoint we didn't, I'm thinking the refs thought it was inconclusive and went with the call on the field. Fortunately, it was called a TD. Fortunately, it was called a TD. This. Hardy's tape on his shoe was white. There was no way to say conclusively if he was on the line. If this is called an incompletion, it doesn't get overturned either. BTW, you can see the ref staring right at Hardy's feet and he calls it a TD. Bills#23Iowa
I brought his jersey last week, and he didn't do anything. I am glad he scored today.

The ref was right there to make the call. There was absolutely nothing in the few replays they showed to think his toes or any other part of his foot was out. I'd say good call and good use of replay.
