lets_go_bills Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I watched AFC Playbook on NFLN last night. They both picked us to win Sunday. That felt good. They also liked how Trent was developing as a passer so far. All good stuff.
bigbillsfan12 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 enough with all the positivity from the press, it's nothing but a JINX anyway!
lets_go_bills Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 No way! Hearing good things about our team never gets old. Besides, 1999 was the last team we saw the playoffs, how can we be jinxed?
SwampD Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 enough with all the positivity from the press, it's nothing but a JINX anyway! It's not all positive...just saw on ESPN2 they were talking about OJ's new trial.

The Dean Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I prefer when the national presses disses the Bills. Now, hopefully there will be a point when the Bills have proved themselves to be so good that the football pundits have no choice but to give them credit. But, until that time, I'd much have them underestimating the Bills.
Whites Bay Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I prefer when the national presses disses the Bills. Now, hopefully there will be a point when the Bills have proved themselves to be so good that the football pundits have no choice but to give them credit. But, until that time, I'd much have them underestimating the Bills. I'd just as soon have them not even TALKING about the Bills! If the team gets past Jacksonville, the path is relatively clear towards a 4-1 record (with a possible upset in Arizona). Buffalo gets out to 4-1/5-0, don't worry. The chatter will never stop. It'll be like the annual Cinderella in March Madness. I agree - let's just see them get the job done. It's been a LONG time since the playoffs.
