The Hands off approach the republicans employ is far better than the over taxed, over programed, borderline socialist strategy of the left. Do know who was a huge backer of the KKK in the 40's,50's and 60's? the Democrats. Al Gores father was a Klansmen. The only reason they trump the Democrats on this issue is because they are far more organized and therefore more able to stay on message. Look, I get the ideal of the Republican party and I can even get behind some of it. But they don't come anywhere near practicing what they preach. Quite the opposite, especially fiscally. Actually I think he might be able to. If he gets elected by a significant margin his message to his party leadership is thing MUST be done differently. I dont see that possibility coming from electing McCain at this time. I dont know for sure that Obama is the guy but right now I am leaning in that direction hoping that at a another critical time in our countries history a skinny guy from Illinois can lead us. Mr. Obama is no Lincoln, judging from his inability to speak extemporaneously. He comes across as a more polished puppet than the current "soothsayer".
