ESPN reports...

Veteran guard Milford Brown, signed as a backup last year who bailed out the Rams with 15 starts, agreed to bail out the Jaguars, who have lost the interior of their offensive line because of injuries.

The 28-year-old Brown agreed to a one-year deal with Jacksonville on Tuesday, according to a source.

Brown was cut by the Panthers after training camp. He played his first four seasons for the Texans. In 2006, he had 12 starts for the Cardinals. Last year, he had 15 starts for the Rams.

The Jaguars plan to sign another interior offensive lineman along with Brown. One of the candidates is Chris Liwienski, who was in the Jaguars training camp this summer.

Well, that Rams team he played for last year sure didn't shine.

They're fans are calling it a "great move" and say they love the signing. You'd think they just made a big free agency acquisition.

Journeyman. Bills played against Milfie in the 2005 season opener, as I recall. Dave Carr, admittedly a sack magnet, went south five times in that game.

Brown is better than what they had there yesterday, but not as good as their missing starters.

Maybe considering what they have left in terms of OL on the roster, it is a great move. :censored:

Exactly, but with that logic signing Tuten Reyes would be a great move.

Errr... they don't have much up the middle.

It wasn't too long ago we were in a similar situation. It's nice to be on the other side for once.
