erynthered Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 That was a cool play. 80023 One of the most exciting plays in baseball. Picture Perfect play. Nice to see it. Plays like that are what makes baseball fun to watch. The way the Chess game of baseball unfolds it can play out as beautiful as an opera. I love baseball.
Greg de'Ville Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 That was a cool play. 80023 Another reason why the Cardinals are multi-faceted. Can beat you little, can beat you long. The Red Sox will have to BEAT the Cardinals and not themselves to break The Curse. Going to be challenging to say the least.
BillnutinHouston Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 None of the TV announcers raised this question, but why didn't Clemens aim (high) at Renteria (assuming Clemens saw the runner breaking on the pitch)? If Clemens hit him with the pitch it would have been a dead ball and the runner would have had to go back to 3rd. C'mon Roger, pay attention to the base runners!!!
jarthur31 Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 How the ASStros beat the Braves is beyond me! Oh, yea that POS, Reitsma! What a joke he was in the second half and I knew we'd lose when Cox put him in.
