molson_golden2002 Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 A 19-year-old Medaille College student is accused of starting a fire in a dormitory by emptying hot marijuana ash into a garbage can. Sean Burns of Prattsburgh faces multiple charges, including arson, following the fire Monday that triggered the building's sprinkler system, causing an estimated $200,000 in damage. Burns was arrested at about 7:20 p.m. Monday by Northwest District police. He has been charged with fourth-degree arson, second-degree reckless endangerment and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Burns is an undergraduate studying childhood education, according to Medaille's Web site. http://www.buffalonews.com/ I wonder how many people couldn't start a fire with a lit cigarette if they tried

It must have been a ten pound cherry, or a garbage bag lined with kerosene!
DrDawkinstein Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 if youre a smoker and dont have an ashtray, or a college student and dont have an almost empty beer can to ash into... youre doing it wrong. this guy was both and is learning his lesson the hard way.

Yup, but an arson charge for dumping ashes into a garbage can is absurd. No way in hell they charge him with that if it's a cig instead of weed.
BuffaloBud Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Arson is arson whether it is with spent cig or dube.
molson_golden2002 Posted September 9, 2008 Author Posted September 9, 2008 This is the best stuff to smoke man! http://www.hempprotein.us/index.html
Stl Bills Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Arson is arson whether it is with spent cig or dube. Doesn't arson imply intent? Sounds like the dude was reckless and neglagent but more than anything was just high as fu*k! The arson charge will probably get dropped.
Hirly5 Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 I see the next weed propoganda commercial. Instead of the kid shooting the other kid, he will dump the ashes out into a trash can burning down a vets office with nothing but kittens and puppies in it. Oh the horror.

This should be no surprise. It said he attends Medaille. That hardly qualifies him as a 'college student'.
Wacka Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Hardly qualifies him as a man. That was or was known as a woman's college years ago,.
justnzane Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Hardly qualifies him as a man. That was or was known as a woman's college years ago,. Well it said he was attending for elementary education he'll no longer be able to do that.
