ChevyVanMiller
The players are all singing the "Rally 'round Matt" tune, but will they really entrust the reins of a Super Bowl possible team to a 7th Round draft pick? It says here that the Patsies* will go after Daunte Culpepper and that the former Fin will accept their offer (in spite of his eloquent retirement statement of last week.) bartshan-83
I sure hope they get another QB. If for no other reason that I think it is tremendous that Matt Cassel has alread carved out a 4 year NFL career despite not starting a single game since high school. I'd love for him to go his entire career with that distinction.

He said they'd consider all the options and make the best choice for the team.

ChevyVanMiller
My thoughts exactly......I'm OK with smacking Daunte around some more Indeed! Reminds me off the great quote by Ko Simpson when he sacked Culpepper a couple years back and said, "I saw the big joker sitting back in the pocket and my eyes got real big." Albany,n.y.
Chris Simms and Tim Rattay are getting the once over by the *pats. WGR just said they were stopped at the airport by Pioli & told not to bother working out, they decided to go in a different direction. Maybe it's Testaverde. Vinny's been there before & has had more returns from retirement than George Foreman.
BillsWatch
Patriots* probably just decided the best thing to do was give their young players experience even if it hurts season chances and next year just take higher draft picks.
