In space no one can hear
Awards for the weekend games: Special Teams Player of the Week Roscoe Parrish, PR, Buffalo. Said coach Dick Jauron: "When he touches the ball, there is a buzz in the stadium. They expect him to make a big play every time.'' His 120 punt-return yards in the rout of Seattle was a club record, and his weaving, Usain Bolt-like 63-yard return for a touchdown in the second quarter was the third of his brief NFL career. Coach of the Week Buffalo coach Dick Jauron. How can a coach have a team more ready to play than Jauron, particularly against a consistent division winner like Seattle? The Bills held the Seahawks to three of 16 third-down conversions, a measly 3.8 yards per play, and recorded five sacks with only one penalty and no turnovers. Pretty impressive, playing in midseason form in the first game of the season -- and on a wet field.

They were so effective and disciplined. It was a completely dominant game.

QB Bills
Roscoe Parrish = Devon Hester of the AFC Except Roscoe doesn't fake a touchback then get tackled at his 3 yard line. Might sound like too much of a homer, but I'd rather have Roscoe than Devin Hester right now. Hester's returns are all or nothing. And he should have had two punt returns for touchdowns last year if not for that phantom holding call against miami...and he had 15 less returns. Love that bills-flavoured kool-aid... NewEra
And now that we have a defense that actually looks like it can force a few punts... It looks good no doubt. I just hope that wasnt based on how undermanned our opponant was.
Fan in Chicago
It looks good no doubt. I just hope that wasnt based on how undermanned our opponant was. Fair comment regarding our D however, on the flip side, they were adequately staffed on their D and our once-putrid offense still did well. Back to OP - proves we have to earn the respect of everyone around the league and once we perform, accolades follow.
