Steve O
http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/nfl Guess it isn't dirty when the Pats put a late hit on a QB (remember the hit on JP last year) but when there guy goes down it must be dirty even if they don't see it
pBills
I was thinking the same thing. Last year, everyone thought JP's hit was no big deal.

davefan66
Best part of the interview I saw on ESPN was Moss says "I'm not a dirty player, I don't even know how to pay dirty" Yeah, maybe. But you sure do know how to quit on your team you Was not a dirty hit at all.

East Brady
Looking at Brady cross eyed is considered playing Dirty in NE*, take for what it's worth...nothin!!!
BuffaloWings
I was thinking the same thing. Last year, everyone thought JP's hit was no big deal. The plays were a bit different... Yesterday, Brady was still in the process of throwing when the KC player went to hit him. It was a little low, but not late. In JP's case, he had already gotten rid of the ball when Wilfork dove at his leg.
The Senator
"Me personally, I thought it was dirty," said Moss. "Like I said, I didn't really see anything because I was running down the field, but it looked dirty to me." Say what, Randy? You didn't see anything, but it looked dirty? Last year they made a running elbow shot to J.P.'s knee. I saw the replay, Brady wasn't down when the guy grabbed his leg and he started to go down. Legal hit. Golden Wheels
That's why Wilfork got fined, and Pollard won't. Losman had already thrown the ball when Wilfork dove at his knees and elbowed him ; Brady still had posession of the ball when Sammy Morris blocked Pollard into him. For the Patriot fans with a short memory. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3POT8n2Qk3g
WhitewalkerInPhilly
But didn't he complain about getting fined over such a blatantly late hit? I've tried to block last season from my mind so I'm unsure.
Band of Merriman
That's why Wilfork got fined, and Marcus Pollard won't. For the Patriot fans with a short memory. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3POT8n2Qk3g I completely agree. In Pollard's case this was nothing more than a football play. It didn't appear he had any intent to injure. And in my best Carl Spackler (Bill Murray-Caddyshack) voice I must say "I have to laugh"!!

Beerball
But didn't he complain about getting fined over such a blatantly late hit? I've tried to block last season from my mind so I'm unsure. He did. He protested his innocence and announced that he was not a dirty player after he was fined for a late/low hit on Losman. He also protested his innocence and announced that he was not a dirty player after he was fined for a late hit on Jason Witten. He also protested his innocence and announced that he was not a dirty player after he was fined for poking Brandon Jacobs in the eye (last regular season game). He also protested his innocence and announced that he was not a dirty player after he was fined for a blatant facemask during the AFC championship game.
