stevestojan Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 Im rooting for the Sox now, but I have two words for a new curse: The Rocket.
kota Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 The world seems to be cursed now. Enough of the curse. Go hire a priest.
stevestojan Posted October 21, 2004 Author Posted October 21, 2004 Go hire a priest. 79566 I thought they worked for free.... Damn, Bush has made the economy so bad, even Priests are exorcizing by the hour?
wwovince Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 Jesus christ stop with curse crap. There is no curses!! Spankees lost get over it all already!!
T-Bone Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 Curses only have power if you believe in them...and the Boston Red Sox obiviously don't believe in them.
RkFast Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 Hate to beat a dead horse....but the Sox GOTTA WIN the WS to 100% get over this "thing" called a curse or whatever else it is. What happened last night erased Bucky Dent, Boone, 1999 and a lot of other stuff. It did NOTHING to erase 1918 or Buckner or the loss to the Reds. There is unfinished business for the Sox.

If the Sox, or should I say, When the Sox lose the Series, what's the first thing everyone is going to say? The Curse is alive. In order to erase the curse, so everyone stops talking about it, they have to win the World Series. Beating the Yankees isn't going to end the talk of the Curse.
stevestojan Posted October 21, 2004 Author Posted October 21, 2004 Jesus christ stop with curse crap. There is no curses!! Spankees lost get over it all already!! 79653 Oh jeez. Stop. Just let everyone have a little fun. Of course there's no real "curse", but this even got me, someone who hates baseball interested. Let us have our fun - we're not hurting anybody.
buckeyemike Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 Even Curt Schilling said in an interview with, I believe, Boston Magazine after he signed with the Sox, "Screw the Curse". Mike
