Taro T Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 The real question should be, how many Americans would trade a 2"x4" flag for a slice of pizza the same size? If it is good pizza, and I'm hungry, I make that deal. Hmmmm, $0.02 flag or $1.00 slice? Can't say that's a particularily tough decision. Now, if the pizza was from Domino's and the flag had pepperoni on it, the choice gets a lot tougher.

olivier in france Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Did you watch it? I love Benjamin Franklin's flag! It reminds me the old french joke about our national bird, the rooster, that according to those funny belgians we have chosen because it's the only bird that can sing with its feet stuck deep in s..t!

And yes, I have to agree that given those variables the decision gets very murky.
