NicholasCal1
For some reason the 70's stands out the most in my mind. Maybe it was because I was young or the game was more exciteing . The steel curtain, the raiders, staubach ,o j , and grease. It will be interesting to see what decade gets the most props.

The Bills team back then was awesome! I would every time Thurman made a huge run or Reed made a huge catch or Tasker gave a snot-bubbler to an unsuspecting return man. DrDawkinstein
in the history of the NFL? id guess the 70s (even though i wasnt around for 90% of that decade) the game was more raw and less "lasers, pop stars and players who cant get by on $4mil"

Other than the Bills four trips to the Super bowel, I would have to say the 60's. Most of you arent old enough to remember this wide open era. drnykterstein
or Tasker gave a snot-bubbler to an unsuspecting return man. Sounds like some sort of candy. What the heck is he doing giving out candy during a football game?

Charles Romes
how can you post a topic like this on the day that Peters ends his holdout. the 00s are by far the best decade. you can follow any innocuous news item or rumor endlessly on line. where would you rather be than right here right now. H2o
I'll always be partial to the 90's because of our great teams back then, but there's no better time than right here and right now. Like Romes said, you can follow anything and everything football 24-7-365. We have NFL in HD. We have the NFL Sunday Ticket. We have the NFL Network that replays countless games. We have the internet to watch preseason games that we would no other way be able to see. What more can you ask for
marauderswr80
Id have to say when fantasy football started to get huge. I never paid such close attention to other teams players like I do now.

bobblehead
I was not alive then, but I am the most interested in watching football highlights from the 50's on TV. I'd bet it was quite a show in color.

Spiderweb
I gotta say right now. Football in HD is amazing. Fez, you really need to go to a few games. TV, while better than ever, pales in comparison in many aspects to a real, live, in the stands, game.
