BeastMode54
how long will it take before he is in the starting lineup? i'm just wondering how long do you other posters feel it will take him to get a grasp on the new offense, and when will Jauron insert him back onto the left side
Steely Dan
If he's in shape and If he's healthy then I'd say the third game.
lets_go_bills
If he's in shape and healthy he will play probably in Week 3. The two week exemption might prevent him from playing Week 2. Not sure on this though. Peters is too good, athletic and talented to not pick up the offence right away. The important thing is he's back, and hopefully out to prove his worth. Besides, half of Peters is an upgrade over Chambers (no offence, Chambers).
Kelly the Dog
I think he starts next week. Or at least plays a half.
FluffHead
hopefully back for the Jacksonville game... Picking up a scheme is a little easier for a LT than say a QB or WR. The skill position guys have to learn the correct reads for every single play. On the other hand, lineman typically have 10-15 different blocking schemes and protections for a handfull of plays. Hopefully this leads to him being back sooner rather than later.

My Friends Call Me Tebucky
Might depend on whether it's supposed to be 75 or 90 degrees in Jacksonville that week.

The biggest difference is what plays will be called in certain situations and allowing the QB to audible.

There is little question that Dockery could tell Peters his assignment in 1-2 seconds as soon as the play is called in the huddle and they can devise a system between themselves to let him know his assignment if there are audibles for the first two games or so, which is all he will need. kendrickoffice
As I recall Peters got a 6 on the Wonderlic. Just putting it out there that he isn't a cerebral assasin.

colin
if he's in shape and healthy then he's out there in jax kicking ass. that will make it 2 straight years (with an injury and hold out exception) where we had the same group on Oline, including 3 studs (peters, dock, walker) one up and comer (butler) and a decent vet at C. marshawn is going for 1600+ this year. VOR
week 2! but if the OL plays solid possibly week 3 No way. The Jags are the tougher team between them and the Raiders (at home). If he's healthy and up to speed, he plays week 2 for sure.

What difference does that make in this situation? If Peters were to play in game 2, it would stand to reason he would play in game 3 (ad beyond) as well.
