But many also are predicting job losses to continue deep into 2009 as well. U.S. employers have already trimmed 463,000 jobs from the payrolls during the first seven months of the year. For the month of August, economists are predicting that 75,000 jobs were lost, according to Briefing.com. That would be the biggest decline since March. Well I wasn’t so much trying to interrupt the speech as make the point that McCain has a horrible voting record on veterans. What the Republican Party is doing with their take on the war in Iraq is spinning it in such a way that it’s about victory or defeat. But they can’t face up to the fact that you can’t win an occupation. In an occupation, everybody loses. What we’re calling for is an immediate withdrawal of all occupying forces in Iraq. Which is a pretty pointless thing to say. Quite obviously the discussion here is about US politics and US politicians as they are compared to each other. Not considering whatever the leaders in Europe or elsewhere think really doesn't enter into the equation and ignoring them for purposes of analyzing US politics does not mean anyone has a 'narrow view' (except maybe you). Making comparisons against a scale of leaders world-wide would conclude that virtually every candidate for POTUS in the past few decades has been a moderate. I heard they got credentials from disgruntled GOP delegates that didn't attend. If the GOP was giving the media power to hand out credentials... For the record, the biggest reason why your country tries to convince the naive in our country to be more like you? You guys will never beat us in anything but wine, cheese, soccer and not taking a shower after doing all three. In all honesty, you do have great docs, engineers and, finally(or once again ), some great military thinkers. But....We are the smart kid, the fast kid, the talented kid, and in general you are the jealous/political kid. The only chance you have as the other kid is trying to make us feel guilty for being the best. Unfortunately, we are also the compassionate kid, and that means that your BS works some of the time. Of course, we don't help ourselves by sending our youth out to Europe, to live like bums, and not also sending them out to an office right after to see both sides.
