nuklz2594 Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 In a perfect world, how many receptions does he get with Peyton or T. Brady throwing to him? We really have no idea what Evans can do?
The Senator Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 94 But that's just one game - how many for the season?
RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 But that's just one game - how many for the season? I believe the correct answer is 5,321. Of course, it would be more if Ditka were the QB.
eball Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 I believe the correct answer is 5,321. Of course, it would be more if Ditka were the QB. If Ditka were the QB Evans would have ZERO receptions, because Ditka would throw the ball to himself on every play.
devldog131 Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 If Ditka were the QB Evans would have ZERO receptions, because Ditka would throw the ball to himself on every play. And every attempt would be a completion for a touchdown. He would need no line, no recievers, no backs. He would even snap the ball to himself and do it all on his own. DIT-KA!

Ditka is able to score multiple touchdowns on every play, because he exists on several dimensions at once...
VABills Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 It depends more on the other WR's on the field than the QB. Lee has not really shown the ability to get open against double coverage. He is not a Marvin Harrison or Steve Smith type receiver. He is a solid player but need help on the other side. When he is the only one to cover he gets shut down too often. He is more of a better Peerless Price than a Steve Smith.

Very similar skill sets.
