ricojes
Bills linebacker Angelo Crowell is out for Sunday's game after deciding to have his knee scoped for a persistent knee problem. According to head coach Dick Jauron the decision "came out of the blue" as Crowell will have the surgery in the coming days. "He's out for the game and that's a surprise," said Jauron. It's not a major reconstructive surgery as the routine scope usually requires a 2-3 week rehab before returning to action. Jauron said Keith Ellison will step into the starting lineup to fill the void.

Bmwolf21
NO! We couldn't have taken on the Steelers without Angelo! Seriously, though - how much did he play and/or participate in the preseason? He (and the training staff/doctors) didn't know a couple weeks ago that this wasn't going to get much better and he was going to eventually need this scoped? GhostsOfTheRockpile
Plus, Posluszny has an ankle injury. Although both he and Jauron are optimistic he'll start Sunday.

Paup 1995MVP
Crowell has a chronic knee condition which is only going to get worse over time. There is no way we are going to give him a long term extension when his long term existence as an NFL player is definitely in question. Wow, we are going to see a lot of Ellison and Digiorgio. It brings back bad dreams of last years defense.

VABills
He and Peters have some serious business together. They are going to sit around eating tweekies, and playing Madden. It's the only way either has any shot of making the playoffs.

Bmwolf21
not sh-- Crowell is dumb I think this borders on a fine-able offense. Then again, if Peters continues his holdout into the season I want the Bills to go after everything they've given him - I even want his dog.
