I understand that the RNC has been making overtures to him to buy his email list, but nothing he said there suggested a reapprochment was in the offing. ExiledInIllinois
You know what RP's rally reminds me of? Ever see Blazing Saddles? Remember the "white folks" wagon train and the "black folks" wagon? Well, RP's rally reminds me of the poor black folks that weren't allowed in the white folks wagon circle when the indians attacked... Ron Paul is "circling" his wagon with only one wagon in it. 'Cept that McCain was trying to get Paul a speaking slot at the convention, in exchange for giving up his voter lists so he could try to win them over as voters. Paul didn't exactly like that idea. Typical TBD Guy
Rumor on the street has it Ron Paul will endorse Bob Barr today By "street" do you mean internet bloggers on political message boards and chat rooms? Ron Paul's stance continues to be that he is not officially endorsing any particular candidate, but that he does think Barr and the Constitution Party's Chuck Baldwin represent his minimal government message much better than either Obama or McCain.
