ChevyVanMiller Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Can teams sign waived players today or do they need wait until Tuesday? It seems impossible that the Bills will go into the Seattle game with just one healthy Tight End. Short yardage situations call for two TE's, they'll have to pick up someone off of the wire - Cieslack (sp?) perhaps?

Waived players are available immediately and Miami has already been dipping in with one Ol and another player can''t remember who.
ChevyVanMiller Posted August 31, 2008 Author Posted August 31, 2008 Thanks. Just a question for anyone who may know: I know that waivers works based on last season's W/L record in reverse, but what is the actual process? Does Miami get a certain amount of time after a guy is waived to claim him before the next team gets a crack or does each team get the same time and when multiple claims are submitted the team with the worse record gets the player?
