silvermike Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 The man is now known as Chad Ocho Cinco. Really. Update your fantasy teams. http://myespn.go.com/blogs/nflnation/0-1-4...more-zany-.html
KD in CA Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Can't we just keep calling him douchebag like usual?
Steely Dan Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 I thought this thread was going to be joke! It still is but not in the way I thought it would be.
justnzane Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Can't we just keep calling him douchebag like usual? yes. However, it gives me a new reason to call him Ocho Homo

Max997 Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 cant wait til he goes to another team and the player with 85 doesnt give it up, how great would that be
disco Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 I don't even like the guy but I do find it pretty hilarious if he actually did it. so odd.
clownments22 Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Fact: Chad Johnson is not a homo or a douche bag, nor does he have a screw loose or stinko. He's actually hilarious. I don't like very many players that don't play for the Bills, but I love Chad Johnson. He's hilarious and he's a good football player. Does he talk a bigger game than he plays? sometimes, but so what a lot of people do that, they just don't get national media attention for it. I for one really hope that this is true. I think it would be really really funny.
HurlyBurly51 Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 It's all about the $$ - players get a cut from their jersey sales, and this cirumvention of NFL rules will probably move plenty of Ocho Cinco jerseys and put more $$ in his pocket.
eball Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 I think it's hilarious. Why some of you choose to hate is a mystery to me.
Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 I think it's hilarious, too. It's refreshing to see/hear something different than the some mundane news all the time.
Steely Dan Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 cant wait til he goes to another team and the player with 85 doesnt give it up, how great would that be That would be hilarious. Normally a player can pay another for the number. The guy who had 85 could hold him up for a ransom!!
Mark Vader Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 So how do we spell his last name? Ocho-Cinco? Ochocinco? Is it Mr. Ocho Cinco, or Mr. Cinco? It's good to see that Chad is still a model of maturity.
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 So how do we spell his last name? Ocho-Cinco? Ochocinco? Is it Mr. Ocho Cinco, or Mr. Cinco? It's good to see that Chad is still a model of maturity. Its good to see that he put up over 1400 yards and 8 TDs last year, amidst all the "overrated" talk.
inkman Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Is everybody aware that he is really calling himself "Chad Eight Five"? Eighty-Five is Ochenta y Cinco.
krazykat Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 I think it's hilarious. Why some of you choose to hate is a mystery to me. It's the same mentality that plagues message boards everywhere and hinders legitimate debate and discussion.
ACor58 Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 "A lot of people look at Chad Johnson and say he's crazy and he does a lot of stuff, but I don't think people really understand how smart I really am," Johnson said.
RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Is everybody aware that he is really calling himself "Chad Eight Five"? Eighty-Five is Ochenta y Cinco. Thank you, Inkman! That was my first thought when I started reading this thread.... I guess that makes me another old white man who doesn't understand how wonderful Chad Johnson is....
