/dev/null
At least according to this http://voices.washingtonpost.com/the-trail...ml?hpid=topnews Pawlenty is staying home tomorrow, when the VP choice is supposed to campaign with McCain. Considering the Pawlenty quote, "I'm just happy to support McCain," I think he's out. Carville, that annoying-as-hell-but-smart pundit, thinks McCain is going to pull a surprise out. According to this.... http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/20...n-vp-conte.html Palin is also staying home Somehow I doubt she could get to Ohio in time for the announcement

erynthered
The early speculation Friday soared around a dark horse: first-term Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. The reason: a charter flight from Anchorage International Airport landed Thursday night at Hook Municipal Field in Ohio, according to Flight Aware, a Web site that tracks air flights. Update: Gov. Palin’s press secretary, Sharon Leighow, told the Wall Street Journal Friday morning that she had no indication that the governor had left the state, and said the security detail said that, to their knowledge she hadn’t left. Ms. Leighow said Gov. Palin is scheduled to talk to a graduation ceremony in Anchorage at 9:45 a.m. local time, and then to go to the Alaska state fair. http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2008/08/29/v...=googlenews_wsj

John Adams
That ends the Palin rumor but reinforce the Darin's one!!! Doesn't answer any questions. Palin, to me, is a pandering choice. She's a complete unknown with almost no experience. If he wants to pick a woman, there have to be better choices.
