Glass To The Arson Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 It was live last night and I want you all to rate me. Who should I trade? What is my weakest/strongest position? QB: WEAKEST Aaron Rodgers Jason Campbell RB: Clinton Portis Jamal Lewis Mat Forte WR: STRONGEST Terrell Owens Santonio Holmes Roy Williams Donald Driver Derek Mason Josh Reed TE: Kellen Winslow Heath Miller D: Bills Seahawks What do you think? Stl Bills Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 BOOOOO THIS MAN!!!!!!!!!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
CJPearl2 Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Who was your first pick? How many teams in your league. I hope it is a big league, because that is a terrible team. Quote
BUFFALOTONE Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 whats the strcuture. Is it WR heavy? For your sake i hope it is. My sleepers this year are Chris Johnson RB Ten and Desean Jackson WR Phi. I also like Kevin Smith RB Det, the rookie. Try and grab those guys if you can. Quote
berndogg Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I dont want to pile on, but wow, that is a terrible team for a 10 team league. How did you end up without a top 20 qb in a 10 team league? Quote
Kipers Hair Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 10 Teams and this is the best you could do? You invested early in the WR's didn't you? Not too bad though...here is the problem, I bet there are some teams in your league stacked at the RB and you can't fight that... Quote
Dante Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I think this would be a weak team in our 14 team league. How come no decent qb? RB's: Decent but not great WR's: Very Strong QBs: Very Very weak = Your in trouble in a 10 teamer. Quote
Max997 Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 your QB's are weak and the only RB you have is Portis, you should have been able to do better then this in a 10 team league Quote
RayFinkle Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I think you should let your wife draft your next team. Quote
BuffOrange Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I wouldn't say it'd be bad for a 14 teamer, but the guy who questioned not getting a top 20 QB in a 10 team league is spot on. Also Josh Reed may be the worst pick ever - at least take a flyer on Fred Jackson if you want to make a homer pick. Quote
kenny3000 Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Wait, I want to play. Would you guys tell me what you think of my team (14 teams, 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1WR/RB, K, DEF - standard scoring w/6pts per passing td): QB Derek Anderson Matt Schaub RB Clinton Portis Julius Jones Maurice Morris Ladell Betts Tatum Bell Michael Bush WR Reggie Wayne Chad Johnson Chris Chambers Chris Henry Roscoe Parrish TE Tony Scheffler K Adam Vinateiri DEF San Diego I was pissed because Lee Evans was taken the pick before me when I took Chris Chambers, but I guess they're pretty similar in terms of fantasy production. My RB situation is not optimal but I think serviceable. Quote

I wouldn't expect last years type deal. Your WR's look good. Not crazy about your RBs Quote
Turn Down For Watkins Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Me too! this is also a 10 team league. QB Drew Brees Eli Manning RB Marshawn Lynch Darren Mcfadden Julius Jones Chester Taylor Selvin Young TE Jason Witten WR Brandon Marshall Joey Galloway Chris Chambers Donte Stallworth Kicker Mason Crosby Defense Giants Colts Quote

My RB situation is not optimal but I think serviceable. To me Tatum Bell is worthless because he's unlikely to be a 20 carry guy even if Kevin Smith goes down - I'd rather throw a hail marry on a Leon Washington or Fred Jackson. Not a big proponent of handcuffs, but the Seattle backfield may be one of the few places where it makes some sense. Schaub is a nice backup to have in that league... Should be a playoff team if Portis & Ocho stay healthy. Quote

QB Drew Brees Eli Manning RB Marshawn Lynch Darren Mcfadden Julius Jones Chester Taylor Selvin Young TE Jason Witten WR Brandon Marshall Joey Galloway Chris Chambers Donte Stallworth Kicker Mason Crosby Defense Giants Colts Bleh, not a fan of this team. I like Brees a lot, but part of his appeal to me is being around in the 3rd round. On this roster he looks like an early 2nd rounder; and if the run on QB's started that early, it seems like there should've been better players available in the 3rd/4th than McFadden & Marshall.
