Captain Hindsight Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Are you watching the game? He played well, he's clearly got great feet. Are you telling me you didn't see that? He looked ok but he was picked in the 7th round for a reason, No freeny also helped, id rather not see him protecting our QBs blind side. I want peters and if not him walker after that im worried
PromoTheRobot Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Are you watching the game? He played well, he's clearly got great feet. Are you telling me you didn't see that? Kelso was raving about Bell too, though it was against 2nd stringers. PTR
dave mcbride Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 flesh eating bacteria = Death Ebola = death torn triceps = unwarranted speculation I didn't say he had it. I'm just saying that if he receives that diagnosis, he'll miss the season. It's an injury that requires surgery.
John from Riverside Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Are you watching the game? He played well, he's clearly got great feet. Are you telling me you didn't see that? I am seeing what OC is seeing.....
PromoTheRobot Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 He looked ok but he was picked in the 7th round for a reason, No freeny also helped, id rather not see him protecting our QBs blind side. I want peters and if not him walker after that im worried Peters was a UDFA TE, so what does draft order have to do with how good you are? PTR
jimmy griffin Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 fantasygang.nation.com just stated "l. walker might have a herniated clavical" kidding
Big Turk Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 He looked ok but he was picked in the 7th round for a reason, No freeny also helped, id rather not see him protecting our QBs blind side. I want peters and if not him walker after that im worried Heh...Peters was an undrafted FA...that doesnt mean much...
Captain Hindsight Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Peters was a UDFA TE, so what does draft order have to do with how good you are? PTR I was talking more about his strengh which as someone else pointed out is suspect
Big Turk Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 fantasygang.nation.com just stated "l. walker might have a herniated clavical" kidding I thought they said it was a left testicle contusion...
BillsVet Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 I was talking more about his strengh which as someone else pointed out is suspect Rotoworld reported Bell's combine bench was 9 reps. J/K PTR
OCinBuffalo Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 DJ just said "we're calling it a bruise, the x-rays were negative, but I haven't talked to Bud or the docs yet."
jimmy griffin Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 what if we beef up robert royal and let him play left tackle. he then will want $11.5 mil after he switches to eugene parker's law office for representation.
Big Turk Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 DJ just said "we're calling it a bruise, the x-rays were negative, but I haven't talked to Bud or the docs yet." did everyone just feel that strong breeze as Billsnation breathed a collective sigh of relief..... Whhooooooooooooooooooooooooo.....
Kelly the Dog Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Jauron: " It's a bad bruise" ...woosh....... Nice. I still think that Parker can make some money down the line and some points with the Bills if he gets Peters into camp tomorrow. It would be the smart move, IMO.
Big Turk Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 what if we beef up robert royal and let him play left tackle. he then will want $11.5 mil after he switches to eugene parker's law office for representation. You mean Eugene Parker's communist regime?
Chilly Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 We can, and we do. The Bills did nothing (other than draft a 7th round OT) to improve the OL this offseason. They concentrated on the secondary. You mean concentrating on the secondary by spending the biggest resources trading for a DT, signing a DT, signing a LB, and drafting CB, WR, DE? Look, I agree it was a huge mistake for the Bills to not sign a veteran offensive linemen or two. It would have been ideal to sign someone like a Wesley Britt, LJ Shelton, or Anthony Clement for some depth at tackle. Saying they "concentrated on the secondary" is a bit of a stretch when you're talking about their off-season. Especially since no one drafted after round 3 would have mattered this year depth-wise anyway.
PromoTheRobot Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Rotoworld is an excellent site for getting information. The writer just said the x-rays were negative but "Buffalo should be praying right now that Walker didn't tear his triceps.." It wasn't any kind of reporting. Surprised he didn't bring up a brain tumor and flesh-eating bacteria. PTR
DonInBuffalo Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 WKBW is pathetic. During their postgame show, the only news they had on Walker was repeating what Adam Schefler reported during the game.
Lori Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Jauron: " It's a bad bruise" ...woosh....... Forearm, as previously reported, which also kills any speculation about the triceps.
