BillsVet Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 On everything except running plays, the only run over 5 yards tonight has been negated by Josh Reed's holding. Run blocking looks real bad. The more things change...well, it's early.
silvermike Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 We are missing our (potential) red zone threat in James Hardy tonight.
bizell Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 kinda excited to see our defense again. let's sack fatass lorenzen a few more times this drive.
BuffOrange Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 I didn't want to respond to the "forced throw" post out of fear of being punked again.... he was kidding, right?
Deep Voice Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Memo to Sterling: It's DWIGHT Freeney, not "Duhwight" Yea
Bmwolf21 Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 what should he have done in that situation? there were 3 guys bearing down on him, better him throw it to where evans can possibly make a play on the ball Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. He throws that -- in a spot where Lee might be able to make a play and the CB probably won't -- and he's forcing it. If he eats the ball and takes the sack it's "same old 'deer-in-headlights' JP"... That's where the play was supposed to go, and the pocket was collapsing around him. Hard to criticize him for that, when the pass wasn't going to be completed anyway. It wasn't picked, he wasn't sacked, they didn't fall out of FG range -- I have no problem with that throw at all.
Beerball Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 OK--have they figured out why the hefty lefty is playing instead of Sorgi?
DrDawkinstein Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 We are missing our (potential) red zone threat in James Hardy tonight. and Parrish underneath and our real QB
BillsVet Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 - O-line's amazing performance is putting a lot of pressure on Peters. I wouldn't call it amazing...some ups, some downs. There's one guy playing out of position and another new starter in Chambers.
colin Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 imo oline is about a unit playing well together, great talent helps, but it's not like on the dl where a whirlwind rusher can just set everything off. if we can play well w or w/o peters, that is the best thing for everyone
H2o Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 We are missing our (potential) red zone threat in James Hardy tonight. Big time.
bizell Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 wow, the colts ol really cleared a huuuuge hole on that addai run
generaLee83 Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Yea I don't mean to be a dick but that's like 5 or 6 "Yea's" tonight for you which is way over the usual 1 per month.
bizell Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 damn ... marcus stroud & chris kelsay almost tackled addai right after he caught that screen pass
bizell Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 POZ with the tfl on addai... hopefully we see lots of tfl's from poz this yr
RayFinkle Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 How many times can they "report" that the Bills have had no contact with Peters?
