BuffOrange Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 WR's are stacked obviously. Burress always gets taken earlier than I want to take him, but it looks like you got him late 4th, which is fine. I like that you went for youth and upside with your bench WR's. RB's are what they are for the most part - I don't really blame you for not reaching on one with the 2nd/3rd round picks and getting a pair of top 10 WR's instead. Depending on who was available in the 3rd I would've considered a QB like Romo/Brees/Palmer; and I'm a big AJ guy. As is your QB's are ok, but there's not enough firepower for a 10team league to overcome an injury to Peterson. Quote

We had 2 keepers and Romo, Brees, Brady, and Manning were all gone before my first pick. At least if Peterson goes down, I have Chester Taylor. A Peterson injury would be tough to overcome though! BuffOrange Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 I see - I just figured you had the 2nd pick. Your other keeper is Fitzgerald I guess? Quote
Swift Sylvan Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Looks pretty solid. RB might be the weakest position but your receivers will definitely help carry your team. As much as I love all the Bills, Lindell isn't usually a particularly good fantasy option. Quote

As much as I love all the Bills, Lindell isn't usually a particularly good fantasy option. In our league, we can choose to play only 1 RB. The other RB position is RB/WR. I think I may actually play an extra WR in most cases. Lindell was my last pick after the few kickers worth a higher pick were already taken. I may just pick up a kicker each week that has a favorable matchup. Same with defense. Quote

Okay, well then RB does look stronger especially with AP. I'm using the same strategy with my Def and K in my league as well especially since some defenses/kickers who weren't good last year will become great options this year and can be picked up as a free agent.
