SDS Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 I'm curious to know where most people here do their shopping for aftermarket tickets (sporting events, concerts, etc...) If you have a favorite place, please post it in a message. Thanks...
FloridaSnow Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 I will typically use either StubHub or Ebay; both of them work pretty well.
BeastMode54 Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 I always go StubHub. I know $150 is a lot of money, but to get tickets for that price in Buffalo is a steal compared to Giants or jets tickets, especially opening day. I got a ticket 40 yard line, 4th row for $150. I think that's a good deal
BillsWatch Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 CraigsList. Not really interest in funding scalper aid agencies.
SDS Posted August 23, 2008 Author Posted August 23, 2008 ok, lots of views - very few votes, but so far only one person uses a traditional ticket broker? I hope we can get some more votes just to get a better sample.
FutureBillsGM Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Craigslist is amazing for tickets, especially at the last minute. I can't stand the 10% service fee on stubhub but i have used them. I got my cleveland tickets for this year on eBay $120 for two tickets. Can't beat that! So basically I shop around but often use craiglist.
DieHardFan Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 ok, lots of views - very few votes, but so far only one person uses a traditional ticket broker? I hope we can get some more votes just to get a better sample.I think the results are also skewed by the inability to choose more than one option. For example when looking for out of town games I first check the usual suspects (SH/EBay) for deals and if there is nothing spectacular use the friendly neighborhood scalper man once in town.
