/dev/null
http://www.drudgereport.com/flashom.htm PAPER: OBAMA READY TO ANNOUNCE HIS VPMon Aug 18 2008 17:01:04 ET The NYT newsroom was buzzing late Monday afternoon after Obama-beat reporter Jeff Zeleny learned how the Dem hopeful has now finalized his choice for a running-mate. Obama has set an elaborate roll-out to announce his decision that will begin with an early morning e-mail to supporters, perhaps as early as Tuesday, Zeleny and Adam Nagourney have been told. A top source close to Caroline Kennedy tells DRUDGE -- the pick is more likely to come early Wednesday morning. Is it Nunn? Is it Kaine? Is Hillary there? What about Kerry? Bayh? Biden? Developing... all night [week?] long I think he was leaning towards Bayh until Russia invaded Georgia. He's going to go the safe route now and pick Biden for some foreign policy creds

JK2000
I know that Hillary has been "ruled out" but I still think it will be her. I'm going to buy some Hillary for VP contracts on intrade just for fun, maybe hedge my bet with a few Biden/Kaine contracts as well.
/dev/null
He should pick Tedy Bruschi. Go for the All Savior ticket. The Universe would implode if that much awesomeness was concentrated on one ticket
Chilly
He's picking my butt. (In all seriousness, VP choices are overrated).
banjo moe
Did anyone see the town hall style meeting recently held when John McCain made Obama look like Lou Ferigno on Jeopardy. Obama is a fraud. When asked which Supreme Court Justice he would not have appointed and why, he actually started to say, Clarence Thomas, because he's not exper.... stopped and said, he wasn't strong. Funny Obama saying someone is not qualified because of lack of experience. For those wanting to know more, here is the lack of experience Obama spoke of Clarence Thomas... Assistant Attorney General of Missouri (74-77) Private Practice (77-79) Legislative Assistant (79-81) Assistant Secretary of Education for the Office of Civil Rights in the U.S. Department of Education (81-82). Chairman of the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (82-90). Appointed to the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit in 1991. Good thing Obama is so much more experienced, because after all, he only wants to be leader of the free world. Go Bills.

You left out porno aficionado (1962- 2008) and pop can pube spotter (1985-1988). Are you really that stupid that you don't know what a "town hall style meeting" is? How many questions did McCain or Obama take from the audience? And by the way Obama never said that Thomas lacked experience, his quote was "I don't think he was a strong enough jurist or legal thinker at the time". I think you are wrong, the slip sounds pretty much as the poster described. Let's go to the tape - http://hotair.com/archives/2008/08/16/nuan...ience-to-serve/ It's funny that you flat-out said he was wrong, when it is at least ambiguous (perhaps he was going to say "I don't think that he was an excellent..."?). Did you look at a written transcript and respond without listening to the answer?
